You acknowledge that this Policy is designed to be read in connection with the Site’s Terms of Use, and that by accessing or using our Site, you further agree to be bound by the Site’s Terms of Use in addition to this Policy.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes as required by law. We will update the information on this page. IMPORTANT: BY USING THE SITE, YOU GIVE YOUR CONSENT THAT ALL PERSONAL DATA THAT YOU SUBMIT MAY BE PROCESSED BY US IN THE MANNER AND FOR THE PURPOSES DESCRIBED BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

Types of Information We Collect

We collect any personal information that you provide to us and online data. In order to better provide you with information about Looma and the launch of our products that we are working to offer on the Site, we collect two types of information about our users: Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Aggregate Information.

Personally Identifiable Information: This refers to information that lets us know who you are and where you would like Looma to contact you. When you engage in certain activities on this Site, such as joining the waitlist to be notified of upcoming product launches or sending us feedback, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself. Examples of PII include your first and last name, email address, mailing address (including zip code) and other identifying information.

Aggregate Information: This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon where you visit or click on our Site and what other sites may have directed you to us. This information, which is collected in a variety of different ways, is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include the Website’s Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) that points to the site you just came from, which URL you go to after visiting our Site, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address.

How We Collect Information

We collect PII only when you voluntarily provide it to us. For example, if you elect to provide your name or email address or both to join a Looma waitlist or be notified of an upcoming product launch, we will collect that PII.

We also collect Aggregate Information, which includes data about your online behavior and our Site’s traffic pattern using tools such as cookies. A cookie is a small data text file which is stored on your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. Cookies may also include more personalized information, such as your IP address, browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server. We may use cookies to perform tasks such as monitoring Site usage. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some aspects of the Site may not function properly if you elect to disable cookies.

We may also collect information about you when you interact with Looma on social media sites or third-party websites. These sites include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Your use of social media and third-party sites, and the information shared with us by such sites, is subject to their privacy policies, terms of use and settings for privacy and advertising. Do not disclose any personal financial information on any social media site.

How We Use Information

We will primarily use the information we collect to provide product or service offerings to you as they become available. We will also use the information we collect for other business purposes. For example, we will us the information we collect to: respond to your requests or questions; enhance the operation of our Site; improve marketing or promotional efforts; better understand the interests of Site visitors, design products or services; analyze Site use and observe your behavior and browsing activities over multiple websites and platforms; customize our Site’s content, layout and services; enforce our agreements, such as the Site’s Terms of Use; and, as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Who We Share Information With

We will share information that we collect if required by law or to protect us. For example, we may share information with a government agency upon request, including responding to a court order or subpoena or cooperating with a law enforcement investigation. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our Site for illegal activities.

Privacy Preferences

We may, from time to time, send you emails regarding new products that we feel may interest you. To update your marketing preferences to stop receiving promotional emails or solicitations from us, you can “opt-out” or “unsubscribe” by following the instructions in the promotional email or communication.

Please note that we will still provide responses to your questions or information that you request if you revise your marketing preferences to opt-out of receiving promotional material.

Your browser may enable you to control cookies, as described above. If your browser’s functionality permits, may modify your browser preferences to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies some parts of our Site may not work properly in your case.
